Welcome to the Rotary Club of New Brunswick.

As a Rotarian, I am frequently asked, what is Rotary?
Rotary unites more than a million people.  Through Rotary clubs, people from all continents and cultures come together to exchange ideas, and form friendships and professional connections while making a difference in their backyards and around the world.

The Rotary Club of New Brunswick
Chartered in 1920, the Rotary Club of New Brunswick was one of the first formed in New Jersey.

Our Meetings
We meet on Thursdays – 5:30 pm (dinner) on the first Thursday of the month and 12:30 pm (lunch) on the second, third and fourth Thursdays.  In the event of a fifth Friday, we reserve that day for volunteer service and do not conduct a meeting.  Visiting Rotarians and guests are always welcome to attend our meetings.  We enjoy food, fun and fellowship and often have interesting guest speakers.

Guiding Principles
Our Motto:  Service Above Self.  This was adapted from a 1911 speech at the Portland Rotary Convention.

The Four-Way Test:  It is an ethical guide for Rotarians to use in their personal and professional relationships.  We recite it at our Club meetings.

Of the things we think, say and do:
  1. First – Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Second – Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Third – Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Fourth – Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Visit Us & Join Us!
We hope you will visit us to learn more about The Rotary Club of New Brunswick and how you can become a Member or Friend and make an impact both locally and globally.  We undertake many humanitarian projects year round.  Examples include: mentoring youths, conducting highway clean-up, providing scholarships for graduating high school seniors and returning veterans, and supporting important local organizations such as The Arc of Middlesex County, Elijah’s Promise, and Prevent Child Abuse-NJ.  We partner with other Rotary Clubs in NJ and throughout the world, as well as our Rotaract Club at Rutgers-New Brunswick, to carry out international projects.

We look forward to meeting you.

Sincerely,

Pamela Stalcup
