The Rotary Club of New Brunswick hosted its largest Murder Mystery Event to date on Friday, November 4th with 148 guests and Rotarians in attendance. With all of the drama in this year's presidential election, the committee decided to feature yet another political debate as the theme. "The Final Debate" featured Harold Dormp vs Vivienne Blimpton at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick. A local group of professional actors from CoLAB arts, provided the script, actors and entertainment.

Guests at this event received buttons and signs supporting the two candidates courtesy of Alpha Graphics and each an opportunity to win several prizes that included theater tickets for many New Jersey Theaters and New Brunswick Restaurants. Unity Bank and Alpha Graphics sponsored the event and the Hyatt provided a delicious four course dinner. Guest also had the opportunity to win 32 baskets and prizes that featured Televisions, baskets and bikes in the raffle. The club also featured a wine raffle that guaranteed everyone an excellent bottle of wine. Some of the wines were valued at more than $100. District Governor Charles Minton and his wife Kathy were also in attendance.

This event helps to support the New Brunswick Rotary Foundation and CoLAB arts foundation. The Rotary Club utilizes the funds to help multiple charities in greater New Brunswick. CoLAB utilizes the funding to provide a young acting program for New Brunswick students and features a summer camp in West Virginia for local youth. Event chair, Michael Blackwell was very proud of the event committee effort and the growth and success of this event.
