| Sharan Jain welcomed club members to the first meeting of 2017. |
| There was a guest attending the meeting who is from Nigeria. He introduced himself and mentioned that he was an educator in his country. He answered many questions, and club members asked him about his Rotary club and the differences between his club and ours. |
| The Rags to Runway project is moving along. Tom handed out two flyers – one for Sponsorship Opportunities and the second a general flyer. Club members have been asked to seek sponsors for the event. Tickets can only be purchased online at georgestreetplayhouse.org. | The Golf Committee met during the luncheon to firm up plans for the May 9, 2017 Rotary golf outing. |
| Effective July 1, 2017 Frank will be resigning as a regular member of the club as he now works in Cranford and cannot attend the club’s meetings He will become a Friends of the New Brunswick Rotary Club member. |
